Landowners across the Lost Woods can now apply for Woodland Trust's new MOREWoods Trial Packs.
Funded by Lloyds Bank, the scheme covers 100% of the cost of trees, protection and delivery, providing an easy way to trial tree planting on smaller sites.
Suitable for farms, smallholdings, gardens and outdoor businesses, the packs are designed to help landowners explore the benefits of tree planting before considering larger-scale woodland creation projects.
Planting trees can support wildlife, improve habitat connectivity and help create a more resilient landscape for nature.
The Lost Woods Project is working with landowners and communities across the Low Weald and Downs to restore, reconnect and protect our woodland heritage. Initiatives such as MOREWoods Trial Packs can help support these ambitions by encouraging more tree planting across the landscape.
To find out more and check whether your site is eligible, visit the Woodland Trust MOREWoods Trial Packs page.
If you're considering woodland creation, restoring ancient woodland or managing existing woodland, explore the support available through the Lost Woods project.
