Join the Lost Woods project, The Woodland Trust, Natural England, and the Forestry Commission to explore grant schemes for trees, hedges, and other types of wooded habitats.

The free event on Thursday 21 November will introduce the range of grant opportunities on offer and the benefits to you as a landowner.

We will also give an overview of The Lost Woods of the Low Weald and Downs project to reconnect ancient woodlands through the formation of new nature corridors.

Farmers, landowners, and land managers in Sussex and the Lost Woods project area are encouraged to sign up to attend. Lunch is provided and there's an optional guided walk to view newly planted hedges, agroforestry, wooded habitat creation, and priority habitat grassland in the afternoon.
