We're delighted to share that the Lost Woods has been awarded the inaugural Ancient Woodland Shield by the Countryside Management Association (CMA).

The Lost Woods team and its volunteers have recorded thousands of Sussex's oldest and most important trees as the Woodland Trust's Ancient Tree Inventory celebrates 20 years of mapping the UK's living heritage.

Do you speak for the trees? Would like to help us tell the incredible stories of the Lost Woods? Find out about the Lost Woods Film Festival. We're looking for film makers and community groups to join our winter film festival. Apply to become one of our selected film makers and join our community group media training to help us ensure that the Lost Woods are not just protected, but heard, shared and remembered.
